Madagascar: First aptitude tests in Japanese in the island
Examinations of aptitude in Japanese language, Proficiency Test (JLPT), took place for the first time in Madagascar, last Sunday, in the heart of the high school of Nanisana in Tananarive, according to a press release issued by the Embassy of the Japan in the island.

JLPT tests assess language skills on five skill levels for candidates with first language Japanese.
Level 1 thus validates the current understanding of the language decrypted closer to the daily life of Japanese and its use in Japanese society.

Level 5 allows contrario confirm simple language acquired from base.
157 candidates and assessed their knowledge of Japanese language and know their level in March 2014 results.
As a reminder, 1,700 people currently follow courses of Japanese in Madagascar.
