Madagascar: Emergency state declared deal with possible attacks of destabilization against the power

The police and the gendarmerie of Madagascar declared a state of emergency at the end of last week, of all of their workforces against the threat of a possible wave of bombings and attacks on barracks on Big Island.

An act of destabilization against the government in power was plotted according to sources close to the Department of Internal Security to be committed on the night of Thursday to Friday last, but the plan was aborted at the last minute.

All units of law enforcement in Madagascar were thus mobilized to counter any attempt of possible attacks against the power in place.

The international airport of Ivato was hence secured by military personnel armed with automatic weapons and who quickly took position around this strategic location.

The closing time of drinking establishments was also put forward to avoid popular overflow collateral.
