Madagascar: Eight thieves of zebus arrested in a taxi-brousse in possession of guns
Eight thieves of zebus suspected were arrested by bikers of the gendarmerie, last Thursday, in a taxi-brousse in Andrangaranga-Arivonimamo on national route 1, in the center of the country, in possession of several handguns of caliber as well as edged weapons.

Military uniforms, printed sheet individual for cattle and a bag containing several tens kilograms of beef jerky zebu were also seized by the police during a search of their luggage.

37 earrings to differentiate the cattle from a herd were also found in their affairs, while only veterinarians and municipal delegates are allowed to possess.

Three suspects were placed in custody after having been referred to the Prosecutor of Arivonimamo and five others benefited from the scheme of parole.

The police strongly suspect that the gang of thieves of zebus was preparing to take action, as relates the newspaper L'Express of Madagascar.
