Madagascar: Closure of schools, the moderate tropical storm Chedza approaching the Island




The moderate tropical storm baptised Chedza caused the closure of schools in Madagascar. Torrential rains were reported in the wake of the low pressure system approaching the Island.
 
Chedza was positioned at 10 am local time in the Mozambique Channel along the west coast of Madagascar by the points 19.5 south latitude 43.2 East longitude.
 
The estimated pressure at the center of the system was estimated at 986 hPa. The moderate tropical storm Chedza was heading towards the Southeast at a speed of 9 km / h.
