A measure of prohibition to leave the Malagasy territory weighs on Camille Vital, former Prime Minister of the HTA (High Transitional Authority). Indeed, while he was preparing to fly to the island of Mauritius in the company of his wife last Saturday for a family holiday, the unfortunate candidate of the "Hiaraka Isika" in the first round of the Malagasy elections was repressed at the Ivato international airport, located Northwest of Tananarive.

Its prohibition on leaving the Malagasy territory is due to a verbale note from the Presidency of the Transition. Camille Vital said he does not know the reasons for this ban. The latter said that he contacted Omer Beriziky, the current Prime Minister to claim intervention but in vain. However, for his part, the latter said that his attempt to intervene with the police authorities to allow the retired general to travel, failed because of the directive "emanating from the Presidency of the transition".

For his part, Jean Louis Robinson, the presidential candidate suggested that the former retired general is a victim "of retaliation" that he argued in the second round of the presidential election.

However, the exact reasons weighing on the former Prime Minister are still unknown for the moment because the retired general had been able, with no concern make the displacement in Europe before announcing his support for candidate Robinson as reported in the newspaper L'Express of Madagascar.
