Madagascar: Andry Rajoelina refuses to resign, but is willing to withdraw from the presidential race if Lalao Ravalomanana and Didier Ratsiraka do the same
The current president of the Transition, Andry Rajoelina, and candidate for in the first round of the presidential election on July 24, decided for the moment not to resign by the deadline of May 26, as imposes the Malagasy electoral law (60 days before the election).
 
Andry Rajoelina has also requested in writing to the Special Electoral Court (CES) the postponement of the elections a month.
