Madagascar: A project of cotton plantation funded by Chinese investors

Chinese investors intends to launch in the course of the year 2014 a cotton plantation project in Madagascar to more than 44,000 euros.
The project is thus funded approximately 8,800 euros by the China-Africa Development Fund and 14,700 euros granted by the World Bank and the rest being ensured by the Shanxi Tianli Enterprise Group Corporation company in charge to operate the planting of cotton that will be created this year in the island.
As a reminder, Chinese entrepreneur investments in Africa shall thus cease to increase in recent years.
In 2009, more than 22 million euros had been engaged in agricultural projects while in 2012 it is almost 61 million euros that have been unlocked to invest on the African continent, as indicated in the Midi Madagasikara newspaper.
