Madagascar: A high touristic season already crowded for 2013
Tourism in Madagascar has known a halftone year 2012 , leaded by the global crisis, growing insecurity in some parts of the island and the political crisis surrounding the transitional of the institution. 
 
Operators in the sector hope however that the year 2013 is a success in tourist area on the Big Island. Already, the first signs in their possession, with an increase in recent weeks of the cruise lines in the South of the island, in the Dauphin region, are find again the smile of many professionals on-site.

Local travel agencies are also preparing to experience a high season from June to October, with bookings rising sharply compared to the previous calendar period, as lexpressmada.com relates.
 
A tourism upturn which is however still at threat. "Tourism sector is a very vulnerable. Destination is valued by visitors, but insecurity and political instability could lead to cancellations of reservations... When riots take place before or after the elections, we can forget these famous perspectives", said a travel agency Manager.
