Madagascar: A gendarmerie attacked by angry villagers who wanted to grab two traffickers of human bones
The gendarmerie of Fetraomby-Brickaville in Tamatave region in eastern Madagascar, was stormed last Sunday late afternoon by an angry crowd.

Nearly 400 excited villagers attacked the barracks of the military to capture two individuals suspected of being thieves of human bones.
The police had to use their weapons in self-defense to defend the brigade and an assailant was injured.

To calm the situation that might become explosive, the two alleged destroyers of graves were moved discreetly to a secure location outside the city.

The police and their families now have a site of close protection to avoid possible retaliation, as marks the site lexpressmada.com.
