Madagascar: A drinking water supply project conducted in several villages in the center of the Island

Airtel Madagascar participated in financing the work of drinking water supply of some 1,400 villagers in Mahazaza, Fierenana Antsahabe and located in the center of the Island.
The inauguration of the infrastructure that have cost 43,600 dollars took place on Wednesday in the presence of the Minister of Water, Johanita Ndahimananjara, local authorities and representatives of the NGO Hilfe * Madagascar, on the initiative of the project sides as the Rotary Club.
A reservoir of 20 m3 and eight fountains are now available among other inhabitants, as reported by the Midi Madagasikara newspaper.
As a reminder, the Indian telecoms group Bharti Airtel, is deployed in fifteen countries of East Africa.
* NGO created in 1999 by the couple Walter and Karine Nebgen in Dusseldorf, Germany, where the non-governmental organisation is based.
