Madagascar: 33 candidatures officially validated by the special electoral court for the next presidential poll
The Special electoral Court formalized yesterday Wednesday 33 candidatures for the next presidential poll in Madagascar.

Controversial candidates, the current President of the Transition, Andry Rajoelina, Lalao Ravalomanana, the wife of the former head of State, Marc Ravalomanana, and former president Didier Ratsiraka, are definitely put out of the race.

The CES has also rejected the request of Lalao Ravalomanana who wanted to substitute herself as a replacement, an action that was ruled inadmissible by the magistrates.
