Madagascar 3 million unemployed and explosion of the informal economy in the island




According to figures from the International Labour Office (ILO), unemployment head-on today 3 million people in Madagascar.
 
At the same time each year, 300,000 young people arrive on the job market and swell the ranks of the unemployed in the island of which many graduates.
 
 Thus, many are those who plunge into the informal economy in explosion in Madagascar and become particular Merchant Street in an attempt to survive.

In 2013, the number of employees in the private sector fell by 11.9%, while in the public sector, declining by nearly 2.6% compared to the figures recorded in 2012, as the newspaper Le Courrier of Madagascar relates
