Madagascar: 15 thieves of zebus shot dead by gendarmes and police, after the raid of 350 cattle
Ten thieves of zebus (dahalo) were shot at Tsivory Amboasary, Tuesday morning at about eight o'clock, in the South of Madagascar by gendarmes assigned to the company of Fort-Dauphin and the police of Amboasary-Sud, during a violent clash with the police, after the flight of about 350 cattle in the village of Sarodrano, located two kilometers from Tsivory.
 
Quickly alerted the police (19 constables and 4 policemen) assisted by the villagers, pursued some 300 dahalo equipped with an arsenal with Kalashnikovs and shotguns.

Heavy fighting lasted several hours and fed shots on part and the other stopped in mid-afternoon.

15 thieves of zebus and two villagers were killed and a policeman was injured in this murderous pursuit that took place on a 15 km, as relates the newspaper L'Express of Madagascar.
