Madagascar: 14 cruise ship stopover at the port of Fort-Dauphin in 2014




The port Ehoala in Fort-Dauphin, in southern Madagascar, should welcome this year 14 cruise ships of which half has already made stopover between January and March 2014.

Handicrafts basketry and weaving, endemic fauna and flora of Fort-Dauphin and the National Park Andohahela World Heritage of UNESCO thus attract more and more cruise lines to explore the natural and cultural charms this region of the Island, as reported in the Courier newspaper of Madagascar.
 
As a reminder, the Ehoala port and the regional Office of tourism of Fort-Dauphin celebrated their thousand tourist cruise landing on the docks in January 2013.
