Madagascar: 10 million dollars to renovate tourist facilities of the island




 Madagascar must own 10 million dollars for the renovation of its tourist infrastructure.
 
The Malagasy Minister of tourism, Benjamina Ramarcel Ramanantsoa, which clearly announced in April 2014 to reach the symbolic threshold of one million tourists landing in Madagascar on the horizon of 2020, thus associates funding and objective, as indicated in the newspaper Les Nouvelles of Madagascar.
 
"Madagascar needs 10 million dollars to improve its infrastructure to accommodate 1 million tourists till 2020. To reach this goal, we need the support of donors such as the World Bank... Indeed, other parts of the Indian ocean as Mauritius allocate nearly 30 million dollars in the sector, while the budget of Madagascar for this sector would be 300,000 dollars ", argued the Malagasy Minister of tourism, Benjamina Ramarcel Ramanantsoa.
 
The arrival of a million tourists in 2020 in the island should according to Malagasy authorities should lead to the creation of 27.903 new jobs, in the wake of a growth of the sector over the next six years by more than 12% each year, as reported for its part the newspaper L'Express of Madagascar.
