The report of the commission of inquiry on the Comoros crash at sea of the Airbus A310 Yemenia off the Comoros, during the night from 29 to 30 June 2009 has been published.
 
The report involves the direct responsibility of the pilot in the crash that killed 159 people.

The crash at sea of the plane from the airline company Yemenia would be due to "an inadequate action of the crew during an unstabilised maneuver ", as explained by the Director of the Commission of Inquiry Ahmed Bourhane, before the press gathered at the Ministry of Transport in Moroni.

This report Comorian thus confirms the final the analysis of the Bureau of Investigation of French analysis that had previously concluded about the pilot error.

The passengers of flight 626 had left the French capital as well as the city of Marseille, on board of an Airbus A330 for the Moroni Prince Said Ibrahim International Airport, with a stopover in Sana'a, Yemen, where an Airbus A310, which accounted for 19 years service awaited them to reach their final destination.
 
As a reminder, only a miracle teenage girl, aged 14 years at the time of the plane crash, Bahia Bakary had been found alive.
