Comoros choose the Chinese standard for the deployment of digital terrestrial television in June 2015




The Comorian authorities which have enacted the transition from analog to digital for June 2015 in the wake of the introduction of digital terrestrial television in the heart of the archipelago have chosen the DTMB Chinese standard as official broadcasting standard.
 
The DTMB standard is in testing since January, 2013 in Moroni and the digital cities on the outskirts with more than 300 cases of reception that have been distributed freely by the Chinese Embassy with four television channels received.
 
New box should soon equipped with approximately 10,000 new Comorian homes before the final transition from analogue to digital, as shown the newspaper La Gazette des Comores.
