Comoros: Two journalists and a featured radio host arrested by the gendarmerie

Two journalists and a radio host were arrested this weekend in the exercise of their profession and placed in custody by the Comorian gendarmerie.

The editor and publisher of the L'Observateur newspaper  of the Comoros are thus prosecuted "for contempt of court" after having transcribed the words of the former Prosecutor of the Republic, Mohamed Oussein, who denounced at a press conference, evidence to support, corruption within the Comorian justice under the guise of a complicit public prosecutor.

Meanwhile, the star presenter of radio La Baraka FM, Abdallah Agwa, has also experienced the same fate as the editor and publisher of the L'Observateur newspaper of the Comoros.

The Prosecutor of Moroni notably accuses him of having made statements to the antenna "incentive to hatred", as indicated by the lagazettedescomores.com site.
