Comoros: The government party now has a stable majority in the National Assembly




The Union for the development of the Comoros (UPDC) which currently runs the country has recently rallied to its cause in the new National Assembly poll exits on February 22 four deputies from smaller parties.
 
The UPDC party loyal to the sitting president Ikililou Dhoinine, and their allies benefit from a stable majority with 19 members against 14 deputies from the main opposition Juwa conducted by the strong ex-man of Moroni, Ahmed Abdallah Mohamed Sambi .
