Comoros: The construction of the Al-Thani hospital restarts soon




The Qatar delegation paid a visit on the island of Anjouan in the Comoros. It is headed by Sheikh Saeed Al Hadjiri.
 
The aim of this visit is to make a determination on the status of the hospital complex, hospital Sheikh Jassim Bin Jaber Al-Thani, whose construction work are under the responsibility of the Group 3 Contracting Company.

The delegation is composed of the Technical Director of Hamed Medical Center (HMC), a hospital of the Qatar, the Director of the office to study the NESPAK and the Director of the Qatari Group3 company.
 
The site had been stopped following the delay in the delivery of the building materials and by unpaid invoices.
 
The lessor of this hospital would have granted to the construction company a period of extension of the site while "prioritising the Interior finish work", as reported by LaGazettedesComores site.

Saeed Al Hadjiri and members of the delegation paid a visit of inspection on the construction site.
 
To be noted that the first kickoff to house the hospital took place on May 17, 2012, by the Governor of the island of Anjouan, Anissi Nandita.
 
The center consist of an area of 20,000 m², will have a capacity of 120 beds and 16 different medical specialties which a wing specialising in tropical diseases.
