Comoros: The United Nations, through the FAO support farmers in the archipelago by sending seeds, fertilizers and equipment
The United Nation and Food Agriculture Organization (FAO) has decided to send a large amount of seeds (carrots, tomatoes, etc..), fertilizer and equipment to support the development of employment in the agricultural sector in the Comoros.

The federation of farmers and women farmers Comoros (Fnac-Fa) was chosen to deliver on the ground these grants that are intended to ensure food self-sufficiency of the archipelago.

As a reminder, this assistance has been established in the wake of the project "Support to Sustainable Peace for the promotion of youth employment and women in the Comoros", which the FAO finance on the three Comorian islands (Grande Comore, Moheli, Anjouan) to promote the employment of young and women, as reported by the lagazettedescomores.com site.
