Comoros: The National Office of Tourism of the Comoros put in honours the coconut tree through an art exhibition

The national Office of tourism of the Comoros (ONTC) associated with the national scientific research and documentation Center and the cultural arts as well as Comorian Cultural Center now propose to the general public an exhibition where coconut is put at the honor to the valorisation of the heritage of the island of the archipelago.
 
Thus since July 25 to August 25, the art exhibition 'Djamnazi’, tale and legend in the Comoros will be full swing, as reported by the newspaper La Gazette des Comores.
 
"The coconut and its products are part of one of the headlights of our country cultures. It is used as a raw material and it can be used on numerous objects of art and many others," said Nouroudine Abdallah, president of the national of documentation and scientific research.
 
On her side for Hissan Guy, President of the Board of Directors of the ONTC, "coconut is an essential cultural and tourism element. Its use in our country is unique in the Indian Ocean", she stressed.
