Comoros: Philippe Lacoste, the French Ambassador on departure recalled the importance of the dialogue between France and the Union of the Comoros




 
The Ambassador of France in Moroni, Philippe Lacoste recently celebrated his departure in the presence of many politicians and economic social actors of the archipelago of the Comoros and wanted to welcome the action of the diplomat at a sober ceremony.
 
Philippe Lacoste who was in office since September 14, 2011 and who will be replaced by Guadeloupéen Robby Judes, reminded his guests the need for dialogue between the two countries, as reported by the newspaper La Gazette des Comores.
 
 "No one ignores the historical disputes between the Union of the Comoros and France (Editor's Note: about the territorial dispute over the island of Mayotte). My belief and my mission, beyond (of) these disputes, was to speak for the well-being of these two populations to try to find solutions," said Philippe Lacoste who also highlighted its close collaboration with the AFD * for the development of the Union of the Comoros.
