Comoros: Meeting between François Hollande and Dhoinine Ikililou on June 21 at the Elysee Palace
The President of the Comoros, Ikililou Dhoinine should meet on June 21 his French counterpart, Francois Hollande, according to the jeuneafrique.com site.

The meeting between the two men should be held in the Elysee Palace.

On the agenda, the French department of Mayotte claimed as part of the archipelago by the Comorian authorities and this since the independence of the Comoros in 1975.

As a reminder, the Comoros, under the leadership of Ahmed Abdallah proclaimed their independence July 6, 1975.

The referendum in December 1974, a strong majority (95%) on Grande Comore, Anjouan and Moheli for sovereignty of all Comoro Islands, Comoros had led to the road of independence.

For its part, the island of Mayotte opted for territorial maintenance in the bosom of the French State.

Dhoinine Ikililou and Francois Hollande are sure to evoke equally at their head to head, the aftermath of coup d'état of April 13 in the Comoros where a French mercenary, a former fellow fighter of Bob Denard was involved.
