Comoros: Laying of the first stone of the new terminal at the airport of Moheli

The laying of the first stone of the new terminal at the airport of Moheli took place on Monday at Bandarsalame in the presence of the Minister of transport, Bahiat Mangai, and Hadidja Aboubacar, first lady and wife of the Comorian president Ikililou Dhoinine.
 
Nourdine Bourhane and Mohamed Ali Soilihi, Vice-Presidents were also present along with the governor of the island of Moheli who warmly thanked the President of the Comoros for the construction of the new terminal.
 
The Minister of Transport, Bahiat Massoundi, also reiterated the desire of the Comorian government to develop the aviation sector in the construction of airport infrastructure such as the terminal of Bandarsalame.
 
A control tower, a technical block where the services of the civil aviation will be implanted, customs and police, as well as a car park that can accommodate the aircraft of type Boeing 737 will be located will emerge.
 
As a reminder, the Government has committed its own funds approximately 1.989.976 euros (980 million Comorian francs) to do its work, as indicated by the Alwatwan newspaper.
