Comoros: France ready to cooperate after the French mercenary involvement in the attempted coup d'état
A French mercenary, a former comrade in arms of Bob Denard was involved in the attempted coup d'état foiled in the night of April 20, against the President Ikililou Dhonine.
 
The French mercenary would be the main financier of the failed coup d'état in the Comoros.
 
For the Consul of France in Moroni which has lambasted methods from another age, the French authorities will cooperate in the investigation if the Comoros wish.
Philippe Lacoste said that "if the French continue to do such things, they will be prosecuted in France".
 
Fifteen people including seven foreigners were remanded in custody, including Mahamoud Ahmed Abdallah, son of former President Ahmed Abdallah Abderemane assassinated in 1989.
 
The French mercenary served including Comoros between 1985 and 1987 in the Presidential Guard of President Abderemane, headed by Bob Denard.
