Comoros: A former Minister of Justice necessitates the death penalty for anyone found guilty of murder
The former Minister of Justice and leader of the National Front for Justice, Miftahou Ali Bamba, asked that the death penalty is now applied in a systematic way, against all perpetrators of violent crimes committed in the Comoros archipelago.

"In recent years, there has been a rise of intentional homicide, rape and assault. The authorities in charge of internal security react as quickly as possible, because it hovers a climate of insecurity quite worrying", confided the former Minister of Justice, Ali Bamba Miftahou to the site lagazettedescomores.com.

The former Minister of Justice, Ali Bamba Miftahou, also criticized the impunity which demonstrates justice against some defendants.

"We have a criminal code. Verdicts are delivered, why do not we apply the convictions? Looks like we want to encourage violence and barbarity," said the former minister.

A speech of firmness that follows the recent Comorian news, with the discovery in less than a week in Grande Comore lifeless bodies of two young women who were raped and murdered.
