Comoros: A Frenchman native of overseas appointed as Ambassador of France in Moroni




Robby Judes, Frenchman native of Guadeloupe, will succeed in September next to the head of the Embassy of France in Moroni after Philippe Lacoste working since September 14, 2011 in the Comoros.
 
Engineer, holder of a 3rd degree in economics, former student of the ENA and counselor at the Embassy of France in Washington before working as a diplomatic adviser to the former minister of overseas, Victorin Lurel, Robby Judes will thus be the 12th Ambassador of France in Moroni since independence of the Comoros in 1975, as reported in the Alwatwan newspaper.
 
Patrick Karam, president of the representative Council of French of overseas (CREFOM) particularly welcomed the nomination of Robby Judes to the post of Ambassador of France in the Comoros.
 
 "... The CREFOM saw this nomination as an encouragement to the mission he is assigned since its creation, namely the possibility for French of overseas to access to high responsibilities on the basis of their merits and constitutes a strong message of the Republic that no position is now prohibited them... ", puts forward Patrick Karam in a press release.
