Comoros: A Chinese company signed a contract for realisation and the upgrading of the drinking water supply network

The Chinese company China Geo - Engineering Corporation (CGC) signed on Tuesday a contract amount 3.418 billion Comorian francs (6.952.046 euros) in the wake of the project to supply drinking water and sanitation (ACAP) for the realisation and the upgrading of systems of water supply to Moroni and Mbéni (Grande Comore), Fomboni-Djoièzi (Moheli), as well as of Mutsamudu and Ouani (Anjouan).
 
Work should start soon according to Ibrahim Ahmed Kassim, Coordinator national ACAP in the archipelago and which welcomed this signature, as reported by the newspaper La Gazette des Comores.
 
As a reminder, the project to supply drinking water and sanitation (ACAP) worn by the Comorian Government, is funded by the African Development Bank (BAD) at 5.750 billion Comorian francs (11.695.221 euros).
