Air Seychelles and Air France sign a strategic commercial agreement

While 10,489 French travelers have already visited the archipelago from 1 January to 5 April 2015, Air France and Air Seychelles have concluded last weekend a commercial strategic agreement, including the setting up sharing their flight code * . Cooperation in terms of cargo and technical assistance is also planned.

As a reminder, Air Seychelles, will officially deploy its wings, as from July 2015, departing from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport for a direct service to the archipelago, without going through the technical stopover of Abu Dhabi.

Flights will thus be scheduled three times a week between Paris and the island of Mahé. The three main tour operators selling the Seychelles destination in France are Exoticism, TUI and Southern Lagoons. Air Seychelles is owned 40% stake in the company of Abu Dhabi, Etihad Airways.

* Code-sharing is based on commercial agreements concluded between different airlines. The codeshare flights or joint operation is a cooperation between airline companies permitting the operation of a destination by several carriers.

One of the airline companies is responsible for conducting direct flight and another company, his partner on the chosen destination, has the right to sell seats on this flight with its own international code of airline.
