Air Madagascar soon be allowed to serve Europe according to the Minister of Transport of Madagascar
The national airline banned from flying to Madagascar in April 2011 in the European space will soon be allowed to serve the Old Continent, according to the Minister of Transport of Madagascar.

The latter intends a future release of Annex B, after the recognition of European institutions the efforts made by Air Madagascar to improve the safety of its routes.

For the Minister of Transport of Madagascar that is optimistic, it is only a matter of time, as it indicates the site newsmada.com.

"Member States and EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) confirmed that ramp inspections in EU airports in the SAFA (Safety Assessment of Foreign Aircraft - evaluation of safety of foreign devices) had revealed no special problem", said the official journal of the European Union on 11 July.

As a reminder, a Boeing 737-300 of the Malagasy national fleet, has only just in July joined the other two devices of the same type authorized to fly in the sky of the European Union and was released on list B introduced in 2005 which prohibited the European space planes on which are recorded breaches in security.

"Given the performance in security activities performed by Air Madagascar with aircraft of type Boeing B737 and in accordance with common criteria, the Commission, following the opinion of the Air Safety Committee, said that Air Madagascar should be authorized to serve the Union with Boeing aircraft B737 type ", concluded the European Union.

Eventually, two Airbus A340 Air Madagascar could again provide coverage of Europe.

Since now for the European air service one of the two bodied aircraft is registered in Iceland, with its edge a registered crew in the Nordic country.
