28 weekly flights between Mauritius and China




An agreement between China and Mauritius has been officially acted at the beginning of last week in Beijing. It is thus up to 28 weekly flights that will soon be operated between the the two countries. A decision recently welcomed by the Mauritian Minister of Tourism, Xavier-Luc Duval.
 
Between January and May 2015, 34,150 Chinese tourists had chosen the Mauritius destination for their journey at the heart the Indian Ocean, representing an increase of 26.6%.
 
As a reminder, Chinese visitors were 63,365 to travel to Mauritius in 2014, representing a high growth of 51.2%. In 2013, 41,913 Chinese tourists had also visited the island.
